Eutelsat: presents ELO Constellation project

(CercleFinance.com) - Eutelsat Communications has presented its ELO constellation project, which is aimed at the IoT market.


Eutelsat's ELO constellation will offer a global coverage, enabling items to transmit data, wherever they are found.

The construction of this constellation of nano-satellites will begin by an initial series of four satellites, ordered from Loft Orbital (ELO 1 and 2) and Clyde Space (ELO 3 and 4).

"If this new initiative proves successful, other satellites will be added to the constellation, to reach a total of 25 satellites operational by 2022," the group said.
