Eutelsat: to provide broadband access services in Spain

(CercleFinance.com) - Eutelsat announces the signing of an agreement with Masmovil group, the fourth largest telecommunications operator in Spain.

This agreement will enable the group to provide, via the KA-SAT satellite, broadband access services to the different regions in Spain.

"KA-SAT is a powerful satellite delivering broadband services across Europe, notably Spain, through 82 spotbeams connected to a network of ten ground stations," the group said.

This agreement will enable Masmovil to reach its target of 100%-coverage of the Spanish population.
