Alstom: Q3 sales up 8%

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom has announced that its Q3 2022-23 sales increased by 8% to 4.
22 billion euros, with the group booking 5.15 billion euros in orders (58% of which were in services, signalling and systems).

Over the first 9m of 2022-23, the transport equipment manufacturer's revenues increased by 8% to 12.3 billion euros, in line with its target, while its order intake stood at 15.2 billion euros.

With an order backlog of 84.6 billion euros at 31 December 2022, Alstom is targeting sales growth that is in line with its medium-term target, along with an adjusted operating margin range of around 5.1% to 5.3% for the current financial year.
