Alstom: 9m sales up 3%

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom has reported 9m 2019-20 sales of 6.
2 billion euros, up 3% (+2% in organic terms), with an order intake of 8.2 billion euros, bringing its total order backlog at 31 December 2019 to an all-time record of 43 billion euros.

"“Alstom's order intake was particularly dynamic this quarter, benefiting from a strong momentum in Europe and Asia Pacific," said Alstom's Chairman and CEO, Henri Poupart-Lafarge.

According to its outlook, at a constant consolidation scope and exchange rates, Alstom estimates that 2019-20, "will be a year of stabilisation of growth after a 2018/19 fiscal year with an exceptional sales and profitability growth."
