Alstom: signs new contract with RATP

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom has signed a contract with RATP to supply its I-CBTC autopilot system on line 6 of the Paris metro.


The contract includes two batches: the onboard system performing the functions of automatic train control, and the radio system enabling data to be transmitted between the train and the ground.

Alstom will ensure the development, validation, industrialisation, installation, testing and commissioning of these batches. In all, 47 MP89 trainsets and 28 stations of line 6 will be equipped with Alstom solutions.
