Engie: NRI multiplied by 2.5 in H1

(CercleFinance.com) - Engie has reported net recurring income (NRI) from continuing operations of 3.
2 billion euros for H1 2022, up from 1.3 billion euros at 30 June 2021, thanks to strong EBIT growth and a lower recurring effective tax rate.

At 5.3 billion euros, the energy group's EBIT increased by 73.1% in organic terms, for an EBITDA of 7.5 billion euros, up 43.2% organically, with revenues of 43.2 billion euros, up 71.3% organically.

Engie maintains its FY 2022 guidance of net recurring income, group share of 3.8 to 4.4 billion euros, based on an indicative EBITDA range of 11.7 to 12.7 billion euros and EBIT of 7 to 8 billion euros.

Engie shares are up about 2.5% in early trading on this news, pretty much double the market's rise in Paris.
