Engie: CEO not re-appointed

(CercleFinance.com) - There were no surprises - Engie has announced that its Board of Directors has decided not to renew Isabelle Kocher's directorship at the next general meeting in May 2020, which will end her duties as CEO.


The Board of Directors has appointed its chairman, Jean-Pierre Clamadieu, with backing from the Committee on Appointments, Compensation, and Governance, chaired by Françoise Malrieu, to seek the group's new boss.

In the meantime, operational management will be assigned to DGA Paulo Almirante, Chief Operating Officer, Judith Hartmann, Chief Financial Officer, and Claire Waysand, Company Secretary, with the latter named interim CEO.
