Iliad: Q1 revenues up 6.9%

(CercleFinance.com) - Iliad has reported a 6.
9% increase in Q1 2020 revenues to 1,382 million euros, boosted by a continuation in its commercial Momentum in Italy (revenues of 150 million euros over three months), and the increase in revenues from services in France (+4.2%).

The telecommunication operator, whic is the parent company of Free, says that these two factors absorbed the decline in equipment sales, which, contrary to Q1 2019, did not benefit from a new product launch (Freebox Delta).

In Q1 2020, nearly 500 new mobile sites and 1.5 million new FTTH outlets were deployed by Iliad in France. Meanwhile, in Italy, about 900 mobile sites were activated over the first four months of the year.
