Orpea: quarterly sales top E1bn for first time

(CercleFinance.com) - For the first time ever, Orpéa has posted quarterly sales of over 1 billion euros.

In the third quarter, the world leader in dependence management recorded sales of 1002 million euros, up 6.2% as reported, for organic growth of 0.5%.

Growth was driven by business in Eastern Europe (+10.3%), France-Benelux (+8%), Central Europe (4.9%), while it slowed in the Iberian peninsula and Latin America (-15.3%).

Over the first nine months of the year, sales reached 2.9 billion euros, up 4.4%.

In the current pandemic, the group "will keep on rolling out all its logistical and human resources to preserve the safety, well-being and social connections of its patients and residents," while supporting its employees.
