Orange: back to black in H1
(CercleFinance.com) - Orange has announced a net profit of 1.
47 billion euros for H1 2022, up 4.07 billion euros on an historical basis and up 369 million euros excluding the impairment of goodwill in Spain.
At 5.93 billion, EBITDAaL increased 0.7% on a comparable basis, thanks to Africa-Middle East (+11.6%) and Europe (+0.6%) and despite the sharp decline in Enterprise (-25.3%), while revenue, at 21.3 billion euros, remained flat (+0.1%) on a comparable basis.
In line with its year-end targets, the telecoms operator believes that EBITDAaL growth will accelerate in H2, in particular thanks to the reversal of base effects, with the group therefore confirming its annual targets.
