Renault: studies two specialised centres of excellence

(CercleFinance.com) - As part of its strategic plan, Renault has said that it will soon create two centres of excellence specialising in electric vehicles, and new generation E-TECH engines and gearboxes.


The electric vehicle entity could have over 10,000 employees in France by 2023. It would have a business model that is adapted to the specificities of electric vehicles and would be able to form partnerships in new technologies and services.

Meanwhile, the powertrain entity would draw on the expertise of around 10,000 employees outside France by 2023 and would be designed to develop industrial and technological partnerships at the cutting edge of the sector.
