Renault: February sales down 22.2%

(CercleFinance.com) - The total French market for new passenger cars for all car makers fell by 20.
9% in February 2021, at constant working days (20 days) according to the CCFA with 132,637 registrations.

Over two months, registrations reached 259,017 units, down 14.2% in raw data and 9.9% on the same number of working days according to the CCFA (40 days, compared with 42 over two months in 2020).

The Stellantis group's sales of private cars fell by 25.6% in February to 48,738 units (-17.2% for Peugeot to 26,750 units, -35.7% for Fiat to 2,630 units), while those of the Renault group fell by 22.2% to 28,376 units (-35.1% for the Renault brand to 18,734 units) according to the CCFA.

Alongside its peer Stellantis, the Renault share is trading pretty much in line with the general market trend on Monday morning (+1.4%).
