Renault: Fernando Alonso joins Renault F1 team

(CercleFinance.com) - Renault announces the arrival of Fernando Alonso (314 Grand Prix starts, 32 victories, 97 podiums) at its Renault DP World F1 Team, alongside Esteban Ocon, as a licensed driver from the 2021 season.


"Given the strong historic and emotional bond between the team and Fernando Alonso - Renault and Fernando won their two world championship titles together in 2005 and 2006 - this decision is both bold and meaningful for the future," Renault said.
