Renault: launches INCIT-EV project

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday Renault announced the official launch of the INCIT-EV project, in collaboration with 32 partners in Europe.


"This project aims to promote electromobility via user-centric experiments of innovating charging technologies for electric vehicles," the group said.

For a period of 48 months, from January 2020 to December 2023, the INCIT-EV project has two main phases to it. First, there is a phase of studying the needs and constraints of consumers, which, as from April 2020, will be followed by the study of charging technologies and their integration into infrastructures. In addition, there will be a demonstration phase on sites of 7 technologies, from the second half of 2022, which will last until the end of the project.
