Renault: first details of internal enquiry known

(CercleFinance.com) - Renault today announces that its Board of Directors, meeting at an ordinary session, was presented with an update on the audit of the remuneration elements of Carlos Ghosn, its Chairman and CEO, for the period 2015-2018.


Claude Baland, Senior Advisor Ethics and Compliance, and Eric Le Grand, Director of Ethics and Compliance, were attributed this mission on 23 November. Remember that that Carlos Ghosn is currently indicted in Japan for concealing income over a period of 5 years.

Renault group said in a statement that, "Their (Claude Baland and Eric Le Grand's) preliminary conclusion is that the compensation of the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Renault and the conditions under which such compensation was approved were in compliance with applicable law as well as the recommendations of the AFEP­MEDEF."
