BNP Paribas: Goldman Sachs raises target price

(CercleFinance.com) - The French bank's revenues rose 1% year-on-year to 11.
8 billion euros and are up 4.9% from the pre-crisis level of Q2 2019.

The analyst points out that costs fell by 1%, leading to positive operating leverage and profit before provisions, which increased by 4%.

In short, the broker is raising its 2021 EPS estimates by 4%, in addition to a dividend payout of 60% from 2022 (above the consensus), with a higher CET1 ratio than the previous year.

The broker has raised its target price for the share from 70 euros to 72 euros (current price about 51.5 euros, +0.5%), confirming its buy rating on it.
