Dassault Systèmes: strategic partnership with BHP

(CercleFinance.com) - Dassault Systèmes and the Anglo-Australian Commodity Group BHP have announced a long-term strategic partnership to benefit from the application of digital technologies in the mining sector.


By combining the experience and resources of each company, the
partnership aims to generate value by applying proven technologies in
other industries to the fundamental bases of geoscience and resource
engineering.

The partnership aims to create a new level of understanding of the
resource and operational potential, underpinned by the two companies'
commitment to safety and sustainability, the French software publisher
added.

Note that the Dassault Systèmes share is currently up over 3%, after
publishing non-IFRS EPS that is up 21% (+13% at constant exchange rates)
at 0.87 euro, hence outstripping the consensus by sept cents.
