Eiffage: partnership with Nexans in EV charging

(CercleFinance.com) - Nexans has announced signing a three-year partnership with Eiffage, by which it will supply charging stations for electric vehicles at Eiffage's 1,000 French sites, representing over 4,000 charging points.


The French production site located in Donchery in the Ardennes (eastern France) offers compact charging stations for indoor and outdoor car parks.

The AC and DC terminals supplied by Nexans have power ratings from 22 to 50 kVA, enabling two cars to be charged simultaneously, with EVs 80% recharged in 45 minutes, depending on the vehicle and the power rating of the terminal.

As the news is being digested, Eiffage shares are up almost 1.5% - pretty much in line with the market, while Nexans shares are doing even better - up about 2.5%.
