Eiffage: contract for windfarm offshore UK

(CercleFinance.com) - Through Eiffage Métal's Belgian subsidiary Smulders, in a consortium with Sif (Dutch company specialised in offshore foundations) Eiffage has signed a contract to manufacture and supply of monopiles and transition pieces (approximately 260 kilotons steel) for the first two phases of the offshore windfarm project of Dogger Bank in the UK.


The Dogger Bank windfarm will be found in the North Sea, over 130 kilometres off the Yorkshire coast

With a capacity of 3.6 GW, it will be the largest windfarm in the world, being developed in 3 phases: Dogger Bank A, B and C.
