Lagardère: AlphaValue now a buyer

(CercleFinance.com) - On Friday AlphaValue upgraded Lagardère shares to "buy" from "reduce", counting on a recovery of its retail business in stations and airports.


The independent broker explains that it had adjusted its valuation model to take into account the favourable market conditions in the sector, due to the easing of sanitary measures in the main countries where the group is present (North America and Europe).

In its comments, AlphaValue points out that Lagardère is the fifth largest travel retailer in the world and the second largest in airports, which means that a recovery in air traffic will particularly benefit its business.
