Vivendi: resolutions adopted for demerger project

(CercleFinance.com) - Vivendi reports that its Supervisory Board has finalized the resolutions to be submitted to its Combined General Meeting on December 9, to approve the demerger of Canal+, Havas and Louis Hachette Group.


Each Vivendi shareholder entitled to participate in the demerger operation will receive, for each share held, one Canal+ share, one Havas NV share and one Louis Hachette Group share, while retaining his or her Vivendi share.

If the proposed demerger is approved by the shareholders' meeting, the first listing of the three companies' shares will take place on December 16, enabling stock market trading to take place from that date.
