Vivendi: Canal+ in exclusive negotiations to buy OCS

(CercleFinance.com) - Vivendi's Canal+ is in exclusive negotiations to buy OCS, Orange's film and television business, according to Variety.


The deal would involve Orange Studio and OCS, the second largest pay-TV service in France after Canal+. The group's employees were already informed that exclusive negotiations were underway with Canal +, Variety says.

It also points out that Canal +, a subsidiary of Vivendi, already owns a third of OCS and has been distributing the service in its offering since 2011.
