Casino: agreement for divestment of 32 shops

(CercleFinance.com) - Casino has announced an agreement with funds managed by companies affiliated to Apollo Global Management, to divest a portfolio of 12 Géant Casino and 20 Monoprix and Casino supermarkets stores by the end of July 2019.


This divestment of 32 store premises by the food retail group is valued
at 470 million euros, of which 374 million euros will be received once
the completion date of this planned sale is reached by the end of July
2019.

Casino will take a stake in a specific company set up by the Apollo
funds for the deal. In this context, it will be able to receive up to
110 million euros in the next few years.
