Vinci: EU approves acquisition of 8 companies from Kontron

(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission today announced that it has approved the acquisition of sole control of eight IT services companies of the Kontron group by Vinci Energies, which belongs to the Vinci group.


These companies are Amanox Solutions (Switzerland); S&T Albania (Albania), S&T Serbia (Serbia), hamcos IT Service (Germany), S&T Deutschland (Germany), CITYCOMP Service (Germany), S&T Mold (Moldova) and S&T CEE Holding (Slovakia).

The Kontron IT services companies are mainly active in IT infrastructure and networks, IT security, and software applications and solutions.

The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not raise competition concerns as the overlaps and vertical links between the companies' activities are "very limited".
