Vinci: contract for Grand Paris Express

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci announced yesterday evening that Société du Grand Paris has awarded Chantiers Modernes Construction (VINCI Construction) the construction of the rolling stock operation and maintenance centre at Palaiseau (91) for the future line 18 of the Grand Paris Express, which will link the Paris-Saclay R&D centre to Orly airport and Versailles.


Covering approximately 64,000 m², the project will include an infrastructure maintenance site, a centralised command post and technical stations.

The 82 million euro contract - 20% of which is being awarded to SMEs - covers roadworks, earthworks, structural work, as well as the enclosure, secondary and technical trades, and the construction of industrial equipment.
