Vinci: launch works at Belgrade airport

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci Airports announces this Tuesday that on the occasion of an official visit to the Republic of Serbia, Emmanuel Macron, president of France, launched the works for the modernisation of the airport in Belgrade alongside Aleksandar Vucic, president of Serbia.


"The event marks the first stage of an ambitious expansion programme for the airport in the Serbian capital, carried out by its concessionaire VINCI Airports", indicates the group.

The government of the Republic of Serbia had awarded Vinci Airports the concession for Belgrade airport for a period of 25 years in March 2018. This contract covers the financing, operation, maintenance, renovation, and extension of the airport and the existing runway system.
