Vinci: to inaugurate bridge in Burkina Faso

(CercleFinance.com) - The Vinci group announced on Monday evening the forthcoming inauguration, at the end of September, of the Boromo mixed bridge over the Mouhoun River in Burkina Faso.


"Built by Sogea-Satom (VINCI Construction International Network), this structure is located on the RN1, the road linking the capital, Ouagadougou, with the country's second city, Bobo-Dioulasso" Vinci said.

"Its reinforced concrete deck (length: 106.2 m; width: 12 m) rests on a 180 t steel framework and accommodates two traffic lanes with a pavement on either side. This is the first such composite bridge in Burkina Faso," Vinci added.
