Ingenico: gets approval from European Commission

(CercleFinance.com) - Worldline and Ingenico have said that yesterday they obtained the European Commission's permission for merger control for the planned acquisition of Ingenico.


This authorisation is subject to Worldline's commitment to make a limited number of divestments regarding a few portfolios of commercial acquisition contracts for Ingenico in Austria and Belgium and for Worldline in Luxembourg. These contracts represent annual revenues of around 25 million euros.

Following this decision, which is the last authorisation expected in the deal, the AMF will announce the closing date of the offer for Ingenico shares.
