Unibail-Rodamco: progress in acquisition of Westfield

(CercleFinance.com) - Unibail-Rodamco has announced that over 99% of holders ORNANE (convertible) bonds issued in 2014 and 2015 have approved its acquisition of Westfield Corporation at their general meetings held on April 20th.


As such, Unibail-Rodamco will make a cash payment to each holder of ORNANE bonds issued in 2014, a consent fee of 0.25% of the total nominal amount of ORNANE held, while each ORNANE bonds issued in 2015 will be paid a consent fee of 3% of the total nominal amount of ORNANE bonds held.

Unibail-Rodamco specifies that the payment of the acceptance premiums will take place after the deal is completed. As a result, the 2014 and 2015 ORNANEs will remain outstanding after the transaction is finalised.
