Unibail-Rodamco: confirms price proposed for Westfield

(CercleFinance.com) - On the request of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) following comments in the press, Unibail-Rodamco has stated that it considers the price of its bid for the acquisition of Westfield Corporation as complete and fair.


The Franco-Dutch commercial real estate giant added that it "has no intention to change the terms of the offer nor does it see any reason why it may do so in the future, but it does of course reserve the right to do so".

Under the December 2017 contract, Westfield shareholders will receive cash and Unibail-Rodamco shares, valuing each Westfield share at 7.55 dollars, suggesting an enterprise value of 24.7 billion dollars.
