Plastic Omnium: to produce tanks for Ford

(CercleFinance.com) - Plastic Omnium will develop and produce 700-bar Type IV high-pressure hydrogen fuel tanks for Ford's prototype net zero medium-size trucks.


Plastic Omnium will develop and produce the high-pressure hydrogen tanks at its Michigan facility in the US.

The US Department of Energy's SuperTruck 3 program funding is designed to accelerate the development of electric vehicle infrastructure and drive zero-emission hydrogen mobility markets, management said.
