Plastic Omnium: Oddo still a buyer

(CercleFinance.com) - Plastic Omnium yesterday announced that it is committed to becoming net zero on scopes 1 and 2 by 2025 and to reducing scope 3 by 30% by 2030.

Following this presentation, Oddo confirms its Outperform recommendation with a price target of 30 euros.

Initially, the group wants to optimise the carbon footprint of its sites. A program has been launched at most of them, with the aim of reducing energy consumption by 12% by 2025, for an investment of 40 million euros, with a payback of less than three years, Oddo says.

At the same time, it will increase the proportion of its renewable electricity purchases to almost 100% by 2025.

Oddo underlines that the group is committed to collaborating and partnering with its suppliers to reduce the greenhouse gas impact of products and solutions in its value chain.
