Plastic Omnium: partnership with AVL for hydrogen

(CercleFinance.com) - Plastic Omnium has signed a partnership agreement with AVL to develop high and medium-powered hydrogen systems that will incorporate fuel cells from EKPO, its joint venture with ElringKlinger.


The automotive supplier explains that this new partnership will enable it to accelerate the commercial deployment, from 2022, of a range of high-performance and competitive hydrogen systems designed to equip all categories of vehicles.

The partnership paves the way for commercial collaboration. Joint marketing activities will be implemented, with Plastic Omnium focusing on fuel cell systems and AVL on integration solutions.
