Dassault Aviation: Egyptian contract comes into effect

(CercleFinance.com) - Dassault Aviation announces the entry into force of a contract for Egypt's acquisition of 30 additional Rafales to equip its Air Force, a contract that it announced on 4 May.


This contract completes the first acquisition of 24 Rafales, signed in 2015, and will bring the number of Rafales operated by the Egyptian Air Force to 54. This is the second operator of Rafales in the world after France.

The deal testifies the satisfaction of the Egyptian authorities with the smooth execution of the first contract. Finally, it confirms the technological and operational excellence of the Rafale and its success in the export market, the group said.
