Seb: token H1 2020 net income of E3m

(CercleFinance.com) - Groupe Seb's H1 2020 sales came in at 2,914 million euros, down 12.
7% y-o-y, including a 12.6% fall at constant exchange rates and consolidation scope (-420 million euros), an FX effect of -0.6% (-20 million euros) and a consolidation scope effect of +0.5%.

Its operating result from activity for the first half of 2020 reached 103 million euros, compared with 230 million euros at end-June 2019. At 30 June 2020, the Group's operating income totalled 58 million euros, compared with 213 million euros at 30 June 2019.

Net income, group share for the first half of the year was 3 million euros, down a staggering 97% from 100 million euros at the end of June 2019.

The group says that FX factors are leading the group to anticipate a potential negative impact on Operating Profit from Activity over 2020, of -70 million to -90 million euros.
