EssilorLuxottica: boosted by broker comments

(CercleFinance.com) - EssilorLuxottica shares are on the CAC 40's medals podium on Monday, following upbeat comments by Bernstein analysts, who have raised their target price for the stock.


At around 11.20am, the optics group's shares were up 1.6%, significantly outperforming both the CAC 40 (+0.2%) and the European consumer products sector (the STOXX Europe 600 Consumer Products and Services index).

In their comments, Bernstein analysts explain that they have increased their estimates for the main sector players after what they consider to be a particularly successful first half.

Regarding EssilorLuxottica, the broker says that it has raised its target price from 192 euros to 198 euros, while maintaining its "outperform" rating on the share.
