EssilorLuxottica: raises FY 2021 targets

(CercleFinance.com) - EssilorLuxottica has raised its 2021 targets, now aiming for sales growth of around 5% at constant exchange rates, with an improvement in its adjusted operating margin compared with 2019.


In H1, and still compared to two years ago and at constant exchange rates, adjusted net income, group share increased by 16.2% to 1.12 billion euros, with the group's adjusted operating margin improving by 1.3 point to 18.5%.

At 8.77 billion euros, the Franco-Italian optical giant's sales increased by 5.7% year-on-year and at constant exchange rates, including a 9.2% increase in Q2 alone.
