EssilorLuxottica: successful E3bn bond issue

(CercleFinance.com) - EssilorLuxottica has announced that it has successfully placed bonds totaling 3 billion euros, maturing in 3.
6 years, 5.6 years and 8 years, with respective coupons of 0.25%, 0.375% and 0.5%, and an average yield of 0.46%.

"The order book peaked close to Euro 11 billion, attracting quality institutional investors, demonstrating high confidence in EssilorLuxottica's business model and credit profile," the group said.

This issue will enable the Franco-Italian optical group to finance its general needs. The bonds will be listed on Euronext Paris on the settlement-delivery date, scheduled for 5 June.
