PSA: confirms Citroen's arrival in India

(CercleFinance.com) - Linda Jackson, head of Citroën, today officially announced the brand's arrival in India at a press conference held in Chennai (South India).


On this market the group will inaugurate a range of new models that have an international vocation. The first of these will be launched by the end of 2021. In addition, the brand will launch its new SUV C5 Aircross from 2020.

With 1.3 billion people, India is the second most populous country in the world and will soon be the first, ahead of China: by 2050, the country is expected to have more people than China and the United States together, the group said.
