Thales: contract for Hong Kong International Airport

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales says it has been selected, along with Dah Chong Hong-Dragonair Airport GSE Service Ltd, to deploy the new instrument landing system and support the third runway construction project at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).


This state-of-the-art solution will be of great help to further improve landing capacity and efficiency, while ensuring extreme flight safety, it said.

Thales has been a partner of the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department for over 20 years now, supplying various critical air navigation service equipment. Its innovative ILS solution has already been deployed in several major airports worldwide.
