Thales: participates in an IoT project in Canada

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales announces its participation as a technology provider in a new Internet of Things (IoT) project in Canada, enabling instant, secure and scalable cloud connectivity for SIM/eSIM-based IoT.


As part of the collaboration with TELUS, the Canadian wireless network operator, and the Canadian Internet Registration Authority, it is providing the SIM cards and the IoT server, all of which comply with the GSMA's IoT SAFE specifications.

The French electronics group says that its solution incorporates end-to-end security with mutual authentication between devices and the IoT cloud platform, ensuring data confidentiality and integrity.
