Thales: wins contract with Mexican Navy

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales has announced that it has won a contract with the Mexican Navy, to provide and integrate the defense systems of the new Ocean patrol ARM Reformador, the first ship of the POLA class (Patrullera Oceana of Largo Alcance), which weighs 2,600 tonnes.


This complete suite enables the crew to perform surveillance and security missions. Under a technology transfer agreement, Marine engineers have participated in the engineering, integration and testing of systems.

Ruben Lazo, Thales' Managing Director in Latin America said that Thales' advanced technologies will help the Mexican Navy make the right decisions at the most critical moments.
