Wendel: NAV per share down 28.9%

(CercleFinance.com) - Wendel has published Net Asset Value (NAV) of 5,280 million euros at 31 March 2020, or 118.
2 euros per share, down 28.9% over three months, due to the falling markets and adjustments to the valuation parameters of unlisted holdings.

The investment company's consolidated net sales amounted to 1,875.1 million euros in the first quarter, down 2.5% as reported and down 2.9% on an organic basis relative to Q1 2019.

In addition, on 29 April, Wendel sold its entire remaining stake in Allied Universal to an investment group controlled by Warburg Pincus for additional proceeds of approximately 196 million dollars.
