Eurazeo: E80m investment in DORC

(CercleFinance.com) - Eurazeo announces an investment of 80 million euros by the Eurazeo China Acceleration Fund (ECAF) in DORC, one of the world's leading specialists in vitreoretinal surgery.


This investment is the fund's first, the purpose of which is to invest, alongside Eurazeo, in French and European companies belonging to business sectors with high development potential on the Chinese market, supporting them in this strategy.

DORC, a Eurazeo Capital portfolio company, designs, manufactures and distributes equipment, consumables, instruments and fluids for ophthalmic surgery, with specific expertise in the retina.

DORC reported sales of 135 million euros in 2019.
