LVMH: Tiffany to hold EGM at end-December for merger deal

(CercleFinance.com) - Tiffany has said that it will hold a virtual - due to to pandemic - EGM on 30 December, mainly to submit the amended details of the merger agreement with LVMH, as provided at the end of October.


For the record, this amendment modifies certain terms of the merger agreement entered into in November 2019, reducing the offer price to 131.50 dollars per Tiffany share, increasing the certainty that the deal will be completed.

This agreement has brought an end to legal actions between both parties: the deal is expected to close early in 2021, subject to usual conditions, including regulatory approvals.
