Pernod Ricard: 24% drop in H1 net income
(CercleFinance.com) - Pernod Ricard reports net income (group share) of E1.
19bn for H1 2024-25, down 24%, and operating profit before non-recurring items (EBIT) of E1.98bn, down 2% organically (-7% reported).
At nearly E6.18bn, H1 sales were down 4% organically (-6% reported), with the spirits group claiming higher volumes and a negative price-mix effect of -6%, mainly due to the market mix.
Operating margin before non-recurring items improved by 65bp, thanks to revenue growth management and agility in marketing expenditure, reinforced by key digital programs, as well as efficiency gains and cost discipline.
