Accor: huge resort project for Rixos in Egypt
(CercleFinance.com) - Rixos, Accor Group's Turkish luxury hotel brand, says that it has reached an agreement to operate the largest resort on Egypt's Red Sea Riviera.
This huge project - which will reopen as "Rixos Hurghada Makadi Bay" once its renovation is completed in 2020 - will have 1636 rooms and suites.
The hotel complex will also consist of villas, 12 bars and restaurants, a beach lounge, a spa and several swimming pools.
Rixos Hurghada Makadi Bay is the first project of its kind since Accor and Rixos merged in 2017, which saw the French group take a 50% stake in its partner.
