AccorHotels: buys 85% of 21c Museum Hotels

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday, Accorhotels announced the signing of an agreement to buy an 85% stake in 21c Museum Hotels.


21c brings together museums of contemporary art, shops, hotels and restaurants that are headed by renowned chefs.

The company was founded in 2006 in Louisville (Kentucky) by Laura Lee Brown and Steve Wilson, philanthropists and collectors of contemporary art.

The 85% stake will cost 51 million dollars, including a possible price supplement. It is set to be finalised in the third quarter of 2018.
