Total: pens Blue Point London acquisition deal

(CercleFinance.com) - Total has signed a deal with Bolloré Group for the acquisition of Blue Point London.


Total thus takes over the management and operation of the Source London network, London's leading recharging network for electric vehicles, with over 1,600 recharging points installed in the streets of London.

The current Source London network currently accounts for over half of the charging points in operation in London. This number of recharging points is to be increased tenfold in the next five years.

Total is also committed to supplying this network with electricity that it guarantees is from 100%-renewable sources, which will be supplied by its subsidiary Total Gas & Power Limited.

Total is thus continuing its development in major European cities, in line with its aim to operate over 150,000 charging points for electric vehicles by 2025.
