Carrefour: partnership with Food-X Technologies

(CercleFinance.com) - Carrefour announces a strategic partnership with Food-X Technologies, a Canadian company that has developed cutting-edge technology for online order management in the food industry.


As part of an exclusive agreement initially covering the Belgian market, by mid-2021 the retailer will integrate its software suite in SaaS mode, which covers a whole spectrum of functionalities, from order taking to last mile delivery.

Carrefour will build its first order preparation centre in Belgium; it will deliver to shops offering click&collect and provide home delivery, thus covering the entire national territory and enabling it to win new customers.
